Subject: Request for Maintenance of Overgrown Tree Behind 34 and 36 Silk Close I am writing to report concerns regarding the large tree located in the communal garden area behind 34 and 36 Silk Close. The tree has become significantly overgrown and is now overhanging both properties’ gardens. Its size and density are obstructing the use and enjoyment of our outdoor spaces and are causing a substantial reduction in natural daylight. The tree is completely blocking sunlight from the garden at 34 Silk Close and is also significantly reducing daylight to the garden at 36 Silk Close at certain times. We would be grateful if the council could arrange for an inspection of the tree and carry out any necessary pruning or maintenance to address the overgrowth and improve light levels to our properties.
