Myself and three neighbours did a litter pick on the alley “Earlsthorpe mews” which is the alley that runs behind Sydenham Road. We have near weekly fly tipping happening on the alley and the area feels unsafe and unclean. Tonight we filled at least 10 bags of waste. -79 Sydenham Road, London, SE26 5EZ

-I very surprised that we have not had anyone clean the streets properly, there are lots of weeds on the pavements and on the side of the roads. Mostly I walk on the road to avoid pavements due this issue and also the dog owners don’t even pick up their dogs mess. I walk down to Tesco in Catford the pavements are so black I can’t even remember when they had been washed , especially it’s directly outside the Catford Lewisham building all your staff going In and out would have seen this and properly haven’t even bothered reporting it to get this sorted. Lots of people I speak to are fed up with lack off maintenance, cleaning of our streets and most people are looking to move away. I have been living in Catford for almost 35 years and never raised a concern, but this is ridiculous that I have to raise my issue with you, Catford was a very good place to live but recent years it’s just gone down hill, I hope someone will take this matter seriously and deal with this as soon as possible we have lots of elderly people and I have seen people trip on the pavements due to poor maintenance and slipping in the weeds.
