A traffic management system was set up at this location on Friday for no apparent reason. It blocks one side of the road (southbound carriageway) and is causing significant traffic congestion during rush hours and honking from frustrated drivers. No work, no workmen and no problem with the road or pavement in this area had been seen. As with the Lewisham House end of Molesworth Street, this area needs the street lights turned in. It's dark. I was nearly run over by someone driving along the footpath last week. As seen in picture, completely blocking the path, was parked for a prolonged period of time. People were having to walk onto Kirkdale, which is a very very busy road.
