There is a blocked highway drain that causes the roadway to be flooded with a large volume of standing water whenever there is moderate to heavy rainfall. This large volume of standing water that has not drained into the block drain, poses the risk of pedestrians getting splashed by passing vehicles as they pass this location on the pavement. The blocked drain is located adjacent to the entrance to Broadway Fields by the lamp post numbered 008 on Brookmill Road, opposite the junction with Friendly Street. Could you please ensure that this drain is unblocked to allow the rain water to drain away, and therefore prevent the flooding of the highway and pavement? I have already reported this some months ago, August of 2025 CAS-4396023-H9T9D0, and no action has been taken to unblock this drain.
