We are writing to you urgently to raise a serious safety concern regarding the enormous tree and several smaller trees located on the green area directly behind our house/garden, which is council-owned. This blocks vital natural light and, more importantly, risks serious structural damage during heavy winds and storms if they were to break or fall. We are also very concerned about fire hazards following recent London Fire Brigade warnings about numerous house and garden fires caused by the prolonged dry weather and extreme heat. Just one small spark from a neighbour’s BBQ could trigger a fire.<br/>The prolonged inaction is unacceptable and places our household’s personal safety at serious risk.
