I am writing to request that the overhanging tree branches in our area be cut back as a matter of safety and maintenance. Large vehicles such as the 261 and SL4 buses regularly strike the branches, posing a risk to road users and pedestrians. In addition to this, the low-hanging branches are encroaching on light and nearby properties, creating a nuisance. During the autumn months, the volume of falling leaves also causes significant mess and contributes to blocked drains.
