The road leading from/to the mansion is a recognised cycle route. The road is in very poor condition with lots of potholes, speedhumps with large holes in and speedhumps that are very narrow and sharp which is uncomfortable on a bicycle. The road is the whole length from the entrance gates either end. Though the Catford end of the road (where it meets Southend Road) is a lot newer and better condition the southern part is in bad condition.
